Altar Workers
We lovingly welcome and escort members to the altar during altar call and during the call to discipleship. Altar workers provide a loving hand when needed at the altar, during what can be a new spiritual experience.

Baptism Ministry
Baptism marks the personal identification with Christ. We begin a journey of faith, united to Christ. We renounce service to sin and give our loyalty and service to Christ. Baptism provides an opportunity to identify with Christ's death and resurrection. We Baptize in the name of the Father, Son and Holy Ghost.

Bereavement Ministry
As a body of believers we feel it is our duty to encourage, support and extend the love of Christ to all who are experiencing loss and grief. What that looks like is emotional & physical support in what can be difficult times

Intake and New Members Ministry
We are responsible standing with all new members during the call to discipleship. We then escort them to the Intake Room for prayer and to confirm their confession of faith. New Member paperwork is collected and an Intake worker is assigned to follow up with them through the completion of new member’s class. We meet bi- monthly.

Mental Soundness Ministry
Mental health includes our emotional, psychological, and social well-being. It affects how we think, feel, and act. It also helps determine how we handle stress, relate to others, and make healthy choices. Mental health is important at every stage of life, from childhood and adolescence through adulthood. As a church body, it is important to promote positive mental health because it allows people to realize their full potential in their relationships with God, others, and their communities. Positive mental health allows individuals to serve, minister, and evangelize effectively. If you are in need of resources and support please complete an intake form and someone will contact you within 72 hours.

Pastor’s Partners Ministry
Represent the membership in providing support and encouragement to the Pastor and his family. We pray for him daily, plan and execute celebrations for his birthday, anniversaries and other special or significant dates in his life. We meet according to the events planned.

Public Relations Ministry
Public Relations Ministry is another tool within the church to build our relations within and outside the walls. As PR pertains to this Ministry, the approach to the congregation and the communities, is to be informative about any and all events happening with the church. Information is a key part of winning souls to the kingdom. How that information is presented depends a lot on how well the PR Ministry is at being forthcoming timely, precise and effective in the transmission of church events. Here at Westside, one of our goals is to serve in the community through various means of association. Our successes come from having a strong communication process between congregants and the community. As we care, we share.
